Gifts of Water

Last year around Christmas time, I got involved with a campaign called Gifts of Water.  A few of you joined in as well. Each of us chipped in $10 and our $10 added with many others became something more amazing than any of us could have done on our own. Today the village of Malindi Uganda has clean water to use for drinking, cooking, & cleaning! Before this, many people there suffered from skin diseases, bilharzia, tape worms, diarrhea, and vomiting due to the dirty water. But now, that is a thing of the past. Here's a little video showing what $10 can become...

Also, did you see that lake? Did you see that green water? That was what they had to use before!

Crazy.

Finally, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who joined our team (Team Wai Mau) and in doing so let the people of Malindi, Uganda know that Hawaii sends them some love.
